IDE on YouTube vs python course

Newbie here. I just find it humorous that Mosh sold me on PyCharm on one of his intro to python YouTube videos, then I start his python course and he’s instructing using VS Studio. It’s good to get experience with both, I suppose. Which IDE are you using?

Same! It feels a little misleading tbh. All the extensions make it even more difficult for me te grasp the concept. I wonder how much of a difference it would make to continue in pycharm.

Honestly, I don’t think it would hurt to use PyCharm instead since after the first few videos, the rest often the content should focus on coding only. I haven’t poked around PyCharm too much, but you can probably add linting and auto-formatting to PyCharm just like Mosh shows with VS Studio.

You’re right, it’s a bit confusing at first glance, but if you continue it’s nothing major. Linting and auto formatting is already included into my pycharm settings. I just had to download some extentions to get vs to work the same way.
Thnx for your reply
