TO Learn Angular, Need prior experience in Java or JavaScript?

I am fairly new to Angular and I am in Business management. I am interested to gain some development knowledge since my current profile is to deal with a lot of Angular work.

I went through this course and feel this course is outdated (I can still pursue this course because the instructor is very good at it). Now, as mentioned I am a novice Angular guy - Do I need to learn Javascript or Typescript before learning Angular?

Hi,

I got a few days of training in Angular last month. I barely had any solid TypeScript knowledge prior to that. Should you be supported by a course I believe you’ll learn enough TypeScript for a kick start. Unlike React that can be both JS and TS based, it seems Angular is TS only.
