.Net & C# / Vs Code vs IDE

Hello, just bought c# course.

I feel its media design is a litte outdated with no subs and maybe a little bit old?

However, many people refer to VS Code ive noticed, ive tested it with html and like it, especially the extensions.

Is Vs code used for .net aswell?

Can I use VS code for Mosh c# course instead of VS community? Or is it unprofessional?

It is not unprofessional to use VS Code. VS Code can be used for C# and .NET Core, but I have a feeling that Mosh’s course is using the .NET Framework (different from .NET Core), in which case it would probably be easier to stick with Visual Studio Community Edition while going through the course.
