When installing MySQL, I have an error in the “Check Requirements” Section (Windows 10). MySQL Installer constantly tells me, that Visual Studion version 2015, 2017 or 2019 must be installed. Since the newest version of VS Code is installed, I don’t know why it does not recognize it. Thankful for help…
First of all VSCode and Visual Studio are two different products… And if you don’t have Visual Studio, uncheck “MySQL for Visual Studio” since you obviously don’t need it.
Thanks for your help, just found out a minute ago by myself. But as a solution I just downloaded it, because I assumed I needed it. At least there is now a solution for all the noobs like me. Have a nice day and thanks a lot.
