I recently bought the Complete ASP.net mvc 5.
But the problem is it’s really outdated.
Even still knowing this, I’ve bought and watched it, although I have a mvc 8 course of someone else which even have a crazy mustache.
I just like the professional and only 6 hours way of Mosh’s teachings.
So has he planned making a newer course anywhere soon?
Because .net framework and .net 8 is a huge difference, specially when your server runs Linux
MVC 5 is good for learning, make sure to download the version he is teaching,
very few companies use new versions.
Hi.
The project of my current client (just like the one before) is in .NET Framework 4.6-4.8 roughly. It is still valuable.
I would say you have the basics to go with Microsoft Learn.
Create yourself an account and go with learning path for .NET (Core) if you like.
I don’t think Mosh would update those courses anytime soon (but I can be wrong of course).
Cheers.
