When I download and view the exercise solutions in Visual Studio All i see is extremely cryptic text. How would I go about viewing the solutions? thanks

The file you download is a zip file. You need to unpack that first. In your file manager you can search for the .sln file. Double click that and it will open in Visual Studio. Of course, you will need to have VS installed.
