SQL course can not execute Mosh's code

This is probably a really simple issue. However, i have just started the course so it’scausing me a bit of a headache.
I downloaded the database files and opened them. The button (lightening bolt) to execute the code is greyed out.

Can anyone help solve this for me, why is it greyed out?

Now they’re all ‘Fetching’ but one?

In the first screenshot you are not connected to your database. The “fetching”-issue happens sometimes. Usually restarting MySQL Workbench helps.
