On completing the Building Components section I finished for the day. With the code sitting on the button work.
Then in the next Section, Styling Components, it jumps back to the cities list but as I had shut down everything there was no history stored in the IDE.
Therefore I cannot get back to the Cities List.
I have tried downloading the github repo but that is a completed app from what I presume is the finished course work.
How can I get the code to a point I can fall in with the course work without having to delete and rerite everything?
Ig you’ve been using git you should be able to view the version history of your commits and can revert to any of them.
Thanks but I didnt think to use git, as I didnt expect there to be such a sudden jump around. I was sure it was mentioned when the course moved to the button that the menu of cities wasnt needed any more.

Honestly if your at the beginning parts i wouldn’t worry too much, but sometimes he has downloads at beginnings or ends of sections or under videos often it’s the code that’s being worked on for these situations. But i just try to keep many files when working on these things.
