For those of you who havn’t seen the mail, Planetscale is removing the free hobby tier on April 8th, after that you’ll have to pay ~40$/month.
I suggest you find an alternative and migrate quickly.
Please notice, Planetscale uses MySQL, make sure you migrate to a service that provides MySQL as well.

If anyone finds a good free/cheap alternative, I’d be very interested! $40/month is way, way too expensive for my little hobby project.
I’m not sure of free MySQL alternatives, but this Reddit thread mentions several free-tier alternatives using other SQL databases, including Supabase (Postgres), Neon (Postgres), CockroachDB (Postgres compatible), and Turso DB (SQLite)

Railway.app is good for alternative. But the database need some config, cause it only provide Posgres
