This looks like a homework assignment you were looking for help on. Also, you did not really provide enough information for anyone to actually help you since you did not supply the ClockWriter class implementation from “Figure 17”.
If you are going to ask for help on an assignment like this, you need to narrow the question - you cannot just paste the exact question you were asked to do for the assignment and expect help. That would be unethical. You should make an effort and then ask questions when you get stuck. For example, “how do you X?”
I think it is your final project the kind of error it is showing, as I was facing the same ones with my e-commerce project where I was supposed to sell feilida grand-prix jacket, and to fix that I took help from an online assignment help.
