When I am using the ! boilerplare in VSCODE the is not coming up with it. It’s not a huge problem as I can just type it in manually but anybody have any clues why that is happening?
What I meant to say was When I am using the ! boilerplare in VSCODE the style is not coming up with the rest of the boilerplate.
Emmet does not include the style tag of the boilerplate by default. Search for vscode Emmet if you are unfamiliar with what it is.
Then why is it in the video?
Sorry, I have not been very active on here. Can you please link to exactly which video you are referring to? I don’t use VS Code as my primary editor but I just created an HTML file with boiler-plate, using Emmet. There is no style tags by default.
It’s any of the videos in the The Ultimate HTML5 & CSS3 Series: Part 1. Every time he does his boilerplate the style element is there.
He is using a snippet extension or created one himself, but Emmet by default did not come that way. You can look google the vscode and search for snippets
