Hi,

The last correspondence we got from Mosh in regards to this you can find in the below thread towards the bottom. There Mosh says hes unsure at this stage but most likely we will finish the React18 series with part 2 but I hope also there is another advanced course coming.

This looks like the latest update about part 3, back in April. He mentions holding off for now while a few libraries go through some potentially breaking changes.

Your solution is not really secure since the API key will ultimately be included in the bundle that is shipped to the client and will be visible in every network request in DevTools. The right way to go about this is to build a backend and include the API key there so it’s invisible from clients.
