There! I said it! I love Mosh’s videos, I’ve paid outright for maybe a dozen or so of his courses so far. But seriously, what’s up with his voice in the latest AI one? He sounds completely different, all the usual energy and enthusiasm that I love about his videos is just…gone!
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say I think he’s switched to using one of those services that provide an AI version of a given voice. Totally understandable if true, it’d certainly make his videos a lot easier to produce. But I’m also using AI atm to make a series of training videos for my company, and this is starting to give me second thoughts…
Hey Mark! Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, I’ve been struggling with some ongoing throat issues that make me sound different at times. Honestly, it’s really bothering me because I hate not being able to bring the same energy you’re used to.
I’m working on it though and doing my best to get back to my normal sound. Appreciate you noticing and caring enough to bring it up .
Are there any particular lessons where you noticed I sound worse or even better?
Ah crap, now I feel like a dick! I’ve watched (and re-watched) so many of your videos now that I’ve got your presentation style permanently burned into my brain, so I find even the smallest change really noticeable.
