I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the Next.js course I purchased. While I was excited to learn and expand my knowledge, my experience has been far from positive due to the numerous errors and issues in the course material.
The lessons are riddled with bugs, outdated methods, and missing explanations for critical concepts. These errors have wasted hours of my time debugging problems that should have been addressed before the course was published. For a paid resource, I expect higher standards of quality and a smoother learning experience.
I’m truly sorry to hear about your frustration, and I understand how disappointing that can be. I’m also a bit surprised since we haven’t received any other feedback like this, especially considering the course has been live for a few months.
That said, I absolutely want to address your concerns. I’ll make sure we have someone review the course content and check for any issues or updates that might have been overlooked.
Please know that your satisfaction is my top priority, and I’m committed to ensuring you have a positive experience.
Thank you for your response and for your commitment to improving the course.
One major issue is that many of the changes and implementations presented in the course aren’t working on the development server. For example, when I try to run npm run build, I encounter errors that aren’t addressed in the course materials. There are no clear explanations or solutions for these errors, and I’m unable to proceed without further clarification or fixes.
I understand that every environment can be different, but i believe this issue may be affecting others as well
It’s difficult for me to anticipate all the possible errors that might come up while you’re building your project, as each machine and setup can be different. However, if there’s a specific error that seems to be common or widely encountered, I’d be happy to help with a solution.
I’ve also started working with someone to update the course. Would you mind sharing more details about the parts you had trouble with? This will help us make improvements.
