CSS Pseudo-elements

Hello everyone,

I am taking the class CSS and doing the Pseudo-element selectors, but seems to me that my folders styles.css is not communicating with my index.html. I am not able to see any of the changes that I made on my page. Can you guys please help me with it? Thanks

make sure you have written this exact rule at the start under the meta part:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/styles.css" /* make sure to add closing tags because i cant seem to */

or just copy this
