Sometimes I try to run a query and get no results and no error messages, despite having copied the code from the video. Does this happen to anyone else or know why it happens?

What DB is it ?
I’d say you did not notice the message maybe ?
For instance in SQL Server you would see the execution plan for requests if you want to and there is a message even to testify the statement is successful.
AFAIR this is the same for MySQL.

I think it was because I was in the wrong DB for the query I was trying to run. It’s working now.
