How to post code on this forum

Hi,
How do you post a sample of code on this forum I just posted a new topic and it didnt print any of the code that I had included is there a function to change it into a snap shot.

Hi on a new line you can press ctrl + e or command + e on mac while in the box, then place the code within the backticks

Thanks luidlear, I will try that method. Also just found a way using three back ticks ``` before and after the code also works.
