Hi,
I don’t know and to be honest I don’t care much anymore.
I finished the course and it helped me get a foot on the ladder. I had to learn further and I still do of course.

Try switching to hooks. There is a brief update on the topic but I suggest learning from the official docs. My former web dev trainer asked me to do the [_Thinking in React_](https://reactjs.org/docs/thinking-in-react.html) guide on the same doc without watching the solution and with hooks only.
This is fairly simple.

Good luck.
