# NO CTE Module in the Complete SQL Mastery course

I purchsed the course **Complete SQL Mastery** as i am preparing for career pivot from Mechanical enginering to DATA Analytics/Engineering and after following course for the while i came to know that there’s no module for the CTE’s and i as wondering if there is any video of Mosh is availabe on it as i am in the final stage where i completed most of the things in SQL apart from CTE’s.

A CTE is a named result set defined with `WITH`, which you can then use in the query that follows. For example: `WITH sales_by_customer AS (SELECT customer_id, SUM(amount) AS total FROM orders GROUP BY customer_id) SELECT * FROM sales_by_customer WHERE total > 1000;`. I can’t confirm whether Mosh has a separate CTE video, but this is a useful topic to practice alongside subqueries and joins.
