# Message error when trying to run java on node

Hi everyone,  
anyone knows why am I getting this error message when I try to run javascript on node using the terminal? Thanks

Sorry I do not know node outside of typing the few commands I need.

But I tried this and it works.

I noticed afterwards you put a $ in front of node. Remove it.
